8 Day Serengeti Great Migration Safari Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Pick up from airport and then transfer to hotel in Arusha
We will pick you up at the airport and take you to your accommodation, with an optional tour of Arusha city. This brief city tour will introduce you to Tanzania and prepare you for your safari the following day. In the evening, we will update you on the remaining events of the trip. Depending on when you arrive in Arusha, you may take an optional short climb to Kilima Moto to see the spectacular sunset.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
The guide will pick you up by 8:00am from the accommodation after your breakfast and drive to Tarangire National Park for two hours. Tarangire is notable for its abundance of old baobab trees and for having the highest concentration of elephants in the whole of Africa. You will go up close to these giants and see elephant families interact. As we go on a game drive, we will keep track of any reported animal sightings. Giraffes, wildebeest, and zebras are among the many herbivores. Predators (lions, cheetahs, and leopards) are more difficult to identify. Later, we will proceed to the river picnic location to have lunch while admiring the wonderful river views and wildlife. Look out for little monkeys and baboons who may attempt to frighten and take your lunch. They are, however, nothing to be concerned about. After lunch, we will embark on a game drive before leaving the park about 5:30pm and returning to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Accommodation options: Ngorongoro Marera Mountain View Lodge
Meals: full board meals

Serengeti National Park
Arrive late afternoon and go on a wildlife drive in Seronera (the Serengeti’s core). At the same time, we went on a game drive till late evening to watch the sunset over the Serengeti while getting up close to the wild creatures. We could be fortunate to see a predator hunt! Finally, we shall go to Serengeti Safari Camp.
